CAREER RESOLUTION PT 2

In continuation of our Career Resolutions series, we will begin to take a look at the individual steps

STEP 1: DECIDE WHAT YOU WANT
Before you head toward a different working situation, you need to know which direction you’re going. If you’re making the switch from another industry into tech, start by considering whether digital marketing, design, or development is your bag. Or think about a creative role in tech or a non-techy role in tech. There’s always the possibility to go freelance as well. Whatever you choose, in tech, you can get a career that has all you’re looking for.

STEP 2: GET THE SKILLS YOU NEED
When you do know what you want, the next step is to go for what you need—right skills! Or at least the fundamentals to boost your career. If you’re going into tech, you don’t have to choose your specialization to start building your foundation. Learning HTML and CSS will be an advantage for you in all kinds of tech professions or as a stepping stone to a designer or developer career. And, once you have the building blocks of the web down, you can get into specializations like visual design, UX, front-end development, or WordPress.

And beefing up your talents doesn’t  cost you an arm or a leg. With comprehensive and proper guidance (which is quite affordable), you can make breakthrough in that field of choice

STEP 3: GET OVER YOURSELF!
Don't be surprised by this step.
Many persons are overcome by fear as such they keep making excuses why they don't want to make that big move. It may be quitting that job, starting up that business, going for that course, changing to a more rigorous exercise pattern, etc. It is time to put away your fears about the unknown and take that big step. Imagine if many of the big names in various fields today has been overcome by fear.

Get over your doubts, limitations, fears and move.

See you in the next part

Best Wishes...
